So, this will come as no surprise to the folx that have been reading our blog posts, but TRB has a new home! …a new online home, that is. Thanks to the wonderful minds (and incredible patience) at DesignLoud, TRB has launched a new website featuring all of the books that we typically have at our markets.
In keeping with our mission of accessibility we have maintained consistent pricing with our market events and offer free delivery on Thursdays for our local clients. We don’t have a lot of leeway when it comes to shipping, but rest assured we’re continuing our search for a low cost provider, so that we can offer better rates. We’re still working on kinks (things like image sizes and quality for example), but you can kick the tires over at
As I’m sure you know today is the last day of Prime Day for Amazon shoppers. We’ve been offering an alternative for book buying through our partners, Bookshop.org for print books (ebooks are coming soon!) and Libro.fm for audiobooks. Bookshop.org has offered free shipping and, in addition, for orders $100 or more you receive a free canvas tote! Not to be outdone, our partner Libro.fm is offering a free audiobook to those brave souls that make the switch from Audible. Both of these organizations are benefit corporations dedicated to supporting independent bookstores across the world and regularly split profits with the indie bookshops in their respective systems. The offers both expire at midnight tonight.
Oh, and hey! Not for nothing but now you can find TRB’s books in a shop! We signed our first merchandising contract with Gibraltar, a new venture in the Cargo District! We’ll be the vendor for modern and current literature in this brand new gift shop next to Drinx and Ruff Draft.
